The program is suitable for grade 8 and above, and alternate programs have been given to younger students, suitable to their age, guided by USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) Respect Life Curriculum Guidelines. Base program takes about 1 ½ hours.
The base program was developed by answering the questions of about 2000 teens grades 8 thru 10 (typical of Confirmation-age students), over several years. The program has been used so far for 8th, 9th &10th grade students, including parents, & various adult organizations, in groups of 5 thru 300. Reference material is made available.
Optional additional presenters can include young adults (20’s & 30’s) that give witness, Teens-for-life representative, pro-life witness by women who have had an abortion, witness by woman raped and kept her baby, and others possible, depending on what emphasis is desired by the sponsoring organization.
An example of alternate form of the program is to have all prospective attendees (e.g., class, organization membership) be invited to ask any questions they want, do not have to sign their name, and submit their questions about 1-2 months before the program is actually presented. The base presentation is adjusted around those questions, and a specific Q/A session follows to read and address their specific questions.
To request this program, please contact the Program Coordinator below. We will set up an introductory discussion to cover the prospective audience, location, desired objectives, any special circumstances or high-interest topics, and any questions you may have about the program. Samples of the reference material can be made available. Dates will be selected, questions can then be solicited from the prospective audience (if that is the selected optional approach), collected and provided to the program coordinator, to prepare the specific program.
No graphic pictures or videos are used, unless specifically requested.
